13. In the absence of critical data on leaching from a treated surface, on reproductive effects of guazatine in Daphnia magna and on degradation rates in water-sediment systems and soil, it is not possible to include guazatine triacetate in Annex I, IA or IB to Directive 98/8/EC for product-type 8.
14. When applying the additivity formula for part of the mixture, it is preferable to calculate the toxicity of this part of the mixture using for each substance toxicity values that relate to the same taxonomic group (i.e. fish, daphnia, algae or equivalent) and then to use the highest toxicity (lowest value) obtained (i.e. use the most sensitive of the three taxonomic groups).
