- If the vehicle is not equipped with a pure electric mode, the electrical energy/power storage device discharge shall be achieved by driving the vehicle (on the test track, on a chassis dynamometer, etc.):
- If the vehicle is not equipped with a pure electric mode, the electrical energy/power storage device discharge shall be conducted with the vehicle driving (on the test track, on a chassis dynamometer, etc.):
- If the vehicle is equipped with a pure electric mode, the discharge of the electrical energy storage device shall be achieved by driving the vehicle with the switch in pure electric position (on the test track, on a chassis dynamometer, etc.) at a steady speed corresponding to 70 % ± 5 % of the maximum speed indicated by manufacturer. Stopping the discharge occurs in any of the following situations:
- If the vehicle is equipped with a pure electric operating state, the procedure shall start with the discharge of the electrical energy storage device of the vehicle while driving with the switch in pure electric position at a steady speed of 70 % +/– 5 % of the maximum thirty minutes speed of the vehicle.
