- The EFSA evaluated the safety of neotame as a flavour enhancer and expressed its opinion on 27 September 2007 [12]. The EFSA concluded that neotame is of no safety concern with respect to the proposed uses as a flavour enhancer and established an ADI of 0-2 mg/kg bw/day.
- The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) assessed the information on the safety in use of neotame as a sweetener and flavour enhancer and expressed its opinion of 27 September 2007 [4].
