1. ‘Type of head restraint’ means a category of head restraints which do not differ in their dimensions, in their framework or in their padding, although they may differ in finish, in colour and in covering;

7. Where application of the allocation coefficient referred to in Article 7(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1301/2006 gives a figure of less than 50 head per application, the quantity available shall be awarded by the Member States concerned by drawing lots for import rights covering 50 head each.
8. Head restraints meeting the definitions of paragraphs 2.12.2. or 2.12.3. but which can only be detached from the seat or the vehicle structure by the use of tools or by partial or complete removal of the seat covering, meet the present definition;
9. Adequate guarantees from the head of the body are also necessary covering various aspects such as preventing the staff of the research unit from passing information obtained from the data supplied to any staff outside the unit other than summary and aggregated research results with the permission of the head of the research unit or ensuring that it would be a major disciplinary offence for any staff of the body to ask members of the research unit for any information concerning individual records in the dataset provided.
10. Training must be divided into phases covering normal operation with no aeroplane or equipment failures but including all weather conditions which may be encountered and detailed scenarios of aeroplane and equipment failure which could affect Category II or III operations. If the aeroplane system involves the use of hybrid or other special systems (such as head up displays or enhanced vision equipment) then flight crew members must practise the use of these systems in normal and abnormal modes during the flight simulator phase of training.
