- ‘Reference point’ of the seat (H point) (see annex 3 to this Regulation) means the trace, in a vertical plane longitudinal in relation to the seat, of the theoretical axis of rotation between the leg and the torso of a human body represented by a manikin;
- The seat-back, if adjustable, shall be locked in a position corresponding to a rearward inclination as close as possible to 25o from the vertical of the torso reference line of the manikin described in Annex 3, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
