1. By 26 January 2008, the Commission shall select a symbol following a recommendation of the Paediatric Committee.

The EU Military Committee has supported the recommendation by the EU Operation Commander to appoint the Chief of Staff of the Joint Force Command Headquarters Naples, Lieutenant General (select) Giuseppe MARANI, as Head of the EU Command Element at Naples for the European Union military operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
10. To ensure that it can coordinate its activities, the European Works Council shall elect a select committee from among its members, comprising at most five members, which must benefit from conditions enabling it to exercise its activities on a regular basis.
11. Those agreements must provide, where necessary, for the establishment and operation of a select committee in order to permit coordination and greater effectiveness of the regular activities of the European Works Council, together with information and consultation at the earliest opportunity where exceptional circumstances arise.
12. Those members of the European Works Council who have been elected or appointed by the establishments and/or undertakings which are directly concerned by the circumstances or decisions in question shall also have the right to participate where a meeting is organised with the select committee.
13. Mr Pieter Feith is appointed Head of the expert team. He shall select the members of the expert team under the authority of the SG/HR. The Head of the expert team shall consult with the Political and Security Committee, hereafter referred to as ‘PSC’, on matters of size and composition of the expert team.
