1. The provisions for the common transit regime need to be adjusted in line with the method of applying the procedure using an electronic data processing technique.
2. The Convention of 20 May 1987 on a common transit procedure has been amended in line with the obligation to lodge the common transit declarations in standard procedure by using an electronic data-processing technique and the parallel provisions belonging to the Community legislation should be adapted accordingly.
